This is 16 oz. unroasted Esmeralda Especial Green Coffee Beans - 2009 Crop. Our 2009 auction micro-lot (Pascua) is from the same area of the annual winning Geisha. It is a late harvest batch that is sublime. Harvested in the month of April with tasting notes of mandarin oranges, jasmine and sugar cane.
World's #1 Coffee of the Year at the Specialty Coffee Assn. annual cuppings in 2005, 2006, 2007, and #2 in 2008 & 2009, but still the #1 Geisha variety. The semi-final score average was higher than the #1 winning Colombian coffee. 2009 Best of Panama #1.
